    Co-President

    Isabel Gurney is a Junior at Columbia College studying Economics and Visual Arts. Outside of CFIG, she is a member of the Design Team of Ratrock Magazine. During her sophomore summer, she interned at Bank of America as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst in the Technology, Media & Telecom group. Next summer, she will be joining Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Technology, Media & Telecom group. In her free time, she enjoys painting, exploring New York City, trying new coffee shops, and Soul Cycle classes.

  • Alberto Villarreal-Canales CC'27

    Co-President

    Alberto Villarreal-Canales is a junior in Columbia College majoring in Financial Economics and minoring in History. Since August 2024, he has worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Centerstone Capital, a merchant bank specializing in consumer M&A, while also executing various controller functions. In addition to his professional pursuits, Alberto mentors Gates Scholarship recipients and provides pro bono college consulting to FGLI students from his hometown in Texas. He also holds leadership positions in the Columbia IEEE, Archery, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu clubs. In his free time, he enjoys rolling with his friends during BJJ practice, running along the West Side Highway, and traveling with friends whenever possible.

  • Michelle Lin CC'27

    Co-President

    Michelle Lin is a junior in Columbia College from Canada majoring in Comparative Literature and Society with the special concentration in Business Management. Outside of CFIG, she is also a part of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. In her sophomore summer, she studied abroad in Venice, Italy. She also worked on a language learning startup called Ludus through vibecoding. In her freshman summer, she was a rotational intern at American Exchange Group, focusing on product development and competitive analysis for the beauty and wearable tech sectors. In her free time, Michelle enjoys going to SoulCycle and trying different restaurants around the city.

    Vice President

    Christian Lippmann is a Junior at GS from Germany majoring in Economics. Outside of CFIG, he is an Operating Committee Leader at the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs. During the summer after his sophomore year, Christian interned at Investec in their Consumer Team. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing table tennis, and watching soccer.

  • Leo Saperstein CC'27

    Alumni Chair

    Leo Saperstein is a Junior at Columbia College, studying Economics-Philosophy as a joint major. Aside from CFIG, he is the President of Notes and Keys, Columbia's oldest a cappella group and a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He is also an Analyst at Lion Fund, a student-led hedge fund. The summer of his freshman year, he worked in film and television at a production company based in Los Angeles. He has also completed three investment banking internships since beginning at Columbia. In his free time, Leo enjoys playing guitar and piano in a band with his friends, along with catching up with friends and family during long walks around the city.

    Ben Punzalan is a Junior in Columbia College studying Economics and Mathematics. Outside of CFIG, he is a part of the Columbia Chinese Students Club, and president of the Columbia Men’s Club Volleyball Team. During his sophomore summer, Ben was a summer analyst at Centerstone Capital, a consumer-focused merchant bank. In his freshman summer, Ben worked at Concord Music Publishing, a leading independent music publisher, as an A&R Research Intern. Next summer, he will be a summer analyst at Centerview Partners.     Sophia Bassi is a sophomore at Columbia College studying Financial Economics with a minor in Sustainable Development. Outside of CFIG, she is the Chief Financial Officer of Morningside Investments and Director of Research at Columbia Venture Partners. During her freshman summer, she interned at Columbia’s Investment Management Company, which manages the university’s $15bn endowment. Previously, she has interned at a boutique investment bank in London. In her free time, she enjoys playing and coaching tennis, doing pilates and exploring the city.

    Jackson ten Oever is a junior in Columbia College from Brooklyn, New York majoring in Financial Economics. Outside of CFIG, he is the captain of the Columbia Men’s Soccer team.
