  • Michael Ding CC'25

    Co-President

    Michael Ding is a Junior in Columbia College studying Computer Science and English. Outside of CFIG, he is the Head of Education at 116th & Partners and an Advising Fellow at Matriculate, a nationwide college access organization. In his previous summers, he worked as an Investment Fellow at the Packard Foundation and as a Summer Analyst at The Raine Group. Next summer, he'll be joining Francisco Partners as a Private Equity Summer Analyst. In his free time, Michael enjoys traveling, reading and writing, playing chess, and rooting for the Knicks and the Giants.

  • Aditi Varma SEAS'25

    Co-President

    Aditi Varma is a Junior in SEAS from Bangalore, India majoring in Operations Research with a minor in Economics. Outside of CFIG, she is an investment analyst at Lion Fund. In her sophomore summer, she interned at Dodge & Cox, a long-only investment fund with 300+ bn AUM. She also participated in the Girls Who Invest program. In her freshman summer, she worked at an early-stage Venture Capital firm focused on tech. In her free time, Aditi likes to read, travel, watch F1 and eat spicy food (send recommendations)!

  • Henry Zhu CC'25

    Co-President

    Henry Zhu is a Junior at Columbia College from Singapore studying Financial Economics and English. Outside of CFIG, he is the Vice-President of CC/SEAS for the Columbia Chinese Students Club and a member of Columbia Chapter’s Scholars of Finance. In his sophomore summer, he interned at Allianz Global Investors within Fixed Income Research assisting in financial modeling and due diligence. In his spare time, he enjoys watching films, reading literature, soccer (MUFC), working out, and exploring the city.

  • Matthew Yuan SEAS'25

    Vice President of Communication

    Matthew Yuan is a Junior in SEAS from San Francisco, CA, studying Operations Research and Computer Science. Outside of CFIG, he is a Chief Development Officer at Morningside Investments. In his sophomore summer, he interned at Redpoint Ventures, where he focused on early-growth investments in enterprise cloud and data infrastructure. Previously, he has held roles in project management at Pony.ai and in private equity at Bright Roots Capital. In his free time, Matthew enjoys exploring the city, discovering new food spots, going on runs, playing tennis, and watching Formula 1.

  • Audrey Zhao CC'25

    Executive Vice President

    Audrey Zhao is a Junior in Columbia College studying Statistics and Computer Science. Outside of CFIG, she is a Revenue Associate at the Columbia Daily Spectator. During her sophomore summer, Audrey was a Global Private Equity Investor Relations Analyst at the Carlyle Group, supporting the Real Estate and Infrastructure Product Specialist groups as well as the Midwest and South Client Relationship groups. In her freshman summer, she joined Pinterest as a Product Managment intern through Pinterest’s acquisition of THE YES, an AI-powered fashion startup. In the upcoming summer, Audrey will be an Investment Banking Analyst at Centerview Partners. In her free time, Audrey is an avid traveler, likely stemming from her background of living all over the United States. She also enjoys reading, barre, fashion, and never trying the same restaurant twice.

    Emre Baser is a Sophomore in SEAS from Istanbul, Turkey, majoring in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Outside of CFIG, he is an E-Board Member at Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE). In his freshman summer, he worked as a Business Intelligence intern at an ad-tech startup focused on building smart cities through digital and street-level displays. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor running, playing basketball, exploring the city with friends, mixing music, and rewatching F1 races and classic films.

  • Tina Deng CC'25

    Head of Education

    Tina Deng is a Junior at Columbia College majoring in Economics-Mathematics and Computer Science. Born and raised in Shenzhen and Connecticut, Tina developed a strong interest in the intersection between technology and investing. She is also an Associate at Columbia Venture Partners outside CFIG. In her sophomore summer, Tina interned as a private equity analyst at I Squared Capital. Previously, she has also worked at a VC, investment bank, growth equity, and hedge fund. In her free time, she enjoys visiting jazz clubs and operas, playing squash, boxing, and reading philosophy works.

    Alexandra Landry is a sophomore at Barnard College from Boston, Massachusetts, planning on majoring in Economics and Psychology. Outside of CFIG, she is a Scholar of Distinction at Barnard and is VP of Marketing and Outreach for the Columbia Chapter of Scholars of Finance. During her freshman summer, she interned at Wellington Management on their Investment Platform Compliance and Risk team. She also participated in the KKR Scholars program at the KKR headquarters in New York, along with completing the Girls Who Invest Online Intensive Program. In her spare time, she loves to bake, go on long walks in Central Park, and travel.

  • Maria Eduarda Abrunhosa Rodrigues CC'26

    Maria Eduarda Rodrigues is a Sophomore at Columbia College from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil studying Economics and Political Science. Outside of CFIG, she is a sister of Kappa Alpha Theta Epsilon Upsilon Chapter at Columbia University. For her freshman summer, she interned at BTG Pactual, the largest investment bank in Latin America, in the Portfolio Solutions team within the Wealth Management branch. In her free time, she likes to go for runs, try new restaurants with her friends and watch Brazilian soccer.

    Vince Smithangura is a Junior in the School of General Studies majoring in Financial Economics. He is originally from Thailand but was born and raised in Singapore. Outside of CFIG, Vince is also a member of Scholars of Finance, and CUIIN. He has previously worked at the Twin Pine Group in Bangkok, Thailand, a boutique advisory firm specializing in DCM cross-border transactions across Southeast Asia as well as Triple P Capital, a regional focused PE firm based out of Singapore. In his free time, Vince enjoys taking photos, cooking, and trying out new restaurants.

    Milagros Vera Elias is a Sophomore at Columbia College from Buenos Aires, Argentina majoring in Financial Economics. Outside of CFIG, she is part of the Argentine Student Association at Columbia. During her Freshman Summer, she interned at an Accounting firm in Buenos Aires. In her free time, she enjoys watching field hockey, working out, cooking, and doing community service.

    Helena Yang is a junior from New York City studying Financial Engineering in SEAS. Outside of CFIG, she is the Director of Logistics at Columbia Venture Partners, a club focused on the venture space. In her sophomore summer, she interned at Goldman Sachs in their Asset Management division. Previously, she interned in the Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley and worked at an EdTech startup. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, going to art museums, spending time with friends, and watching soccer and Formula 1.
