Sophia Bassi is a junior at Columbia College studying Financial Economics with a minor in Sustainable Development. Outside of CFIG, she is the Co-President of Columbia Venture Partners and Chief Financial Officer of Morningside Investments. During her sophomore summer, she interned in infrastructure private equity at I Squared Capital. In her freshman summer, she interned at Columbia’s Investment Management Company, which manages the university’s $16bn endowment. Next summer, she will be joining Evercore as an M&A Investment Banking Analyst. In her free time, she enjoys playing and coaching tennis, doing pilates, and exploring the city.

Jackson ten Oever is a senior at Columbia College from Brooklyn, New York majoring in Financial Economics. Outside of CFIG, he is the captain of the Columbia Men’s Soccer Team. In his sophomore summer, he interned at Blue Owl Capital as a Private Credit Investment Analyst in the Alternative Credit group. This past summer, Jackson interned at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Healthcare group, where he will return after graduation. He also founded and runs a youth soccer development program called Youth4Youth FC. In his free time, Jackson enjoys listening to music, eating good food, and watching new movies.

Jason Zhao is a junior at Columbia College studying Computer Science. Outside of CFIG, he is also a member of Lion Fund and Asian Leadership Initiative. During his sophomore summer, he interned at Weiss Asset Management as a Summer Fundamental Analyst on the Merger Arbitrage & Special Situations and Convertible Bond Arbitrage teams and will be returning for his junior summer. Julie Lee is a junior at Barnard College studying Economics and Classical History. Outside of CFIG, she is a student manager for the Columbia Women's Basketball Team. During her freshman summer, she interned at Chesley Investment Advisors, a boutique asset management firm based in Seoul. This past summer, she interned at EY as a Consulting Intern for the Digital and Emerging Technologies group. In her free time, she enjoys watching soccer, visiting art museums, and going vinyl shopping.

Nicholas Simon is a junior at Columbia SEAS from London and Mallorca majoring in Applied Mathematics. Outside of CFIG, he is a Value Analyst at Paragon Global Investments and VP of Alumni Relations for AKPsi. During his sophomore summer, he interned at Balyasny Asset Management in NYC on the Proprietary Research team, covering Healthcare and Industrials. Next summer, he'll return to Balyasny on a long/short investment team. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys basketball, poker, and scuba diving.

River Cornwell is a junior at Columbia SEAS studying Industrial Engineering with a minor in Architecture. He spent his freshman summer as a private equity intern at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners and his sophomore summer on the Enhanced Lending team at Cliffwater, an alternative investment advisor and asset manager. Next summer, he will join the Equity Research team at market maker and quantitative trading firm Susquehanna International Group. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and spending time in the outdoors, either backpacking in the Sierra Nevada or skiing with friends and family.
